Project Manager – Medium‑Sized Projects

About the role

Lead the execution of medium‑sized projects for Hitachi Energy, ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, quality standards, health, safety, environmental requirements, financial targets and schedule commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Define project guidelines, allocate tasks and motivate internal and external resources to meet milestones.
• Collaborate with Project Controls to develop scope, financial plans, schedules and risk management documents.
• Monitor project progress, resource utilization, invoicing, costs, expenses and cash flow.
• Identify, qualify, quantify and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Oversee contract, claims and procurement activities in line with Hitachi Energy policies.
• Act as primary customer contact and escalation point, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure formal project close‑out, contract completion and customer acceptance.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Certified Project Manager (PMP or equivalent).
• Experience with substation, basic engineering, protection and control, medium and high voltage equipment and technical document control.
