Senior Android Engineer – Remote

About the role

Coforge is looking for a Senior Android Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Android applications. This fully remote position offers the chance to work with modern Kotlin‑based technologies and shape mobile architecture for a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Implement Clean Architecture with clear separation of Data, Domain, and Presentation layers.
• Build asynchronous, responsive features leveraging Kotlin Coroutines and Structured Concurrency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise performance, ensure code quality, and promote best engineering practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Kotlin, Coroutines, and Jetpack Compose.
• Deep understanding of Clean Architecture and layered design.
• Proven ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimise mobile performance.
• Experience working in Agile environments and communicating effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
