Senior Backend Developer – Go / Platform

About the role

Coforge is looking for a Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in Go to design and deliver high‑performance, cloud‑native services for a cybersecurity platform. The role is fully remote and focuses on building resilient, scalable systems on Google Cloud Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy micro‑service based backend components using Go, REST, and gRPC.
• Leverage GCP services to build highly available, fault‑tolerant systems.
• Implement containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Integrate asynchronous messaging via Google Pub/Sub or Kafka.
• Write automated unit, integration, and BDD tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and platform engineering teams.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Required profile

• 7+ years of backend or distributed systems development experience.
• 4+ years of hands‑on Go (Golang) development.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in agile, cross‑functional teams.
• Experience scaling micro‑service architectures in production.
