Senior Manager – Mining & Metals (Peru)

About the role

dss+ is seeking a Senior Manager to lead large‑scale transformation programmes for mining and metals clients in Peru. You will combine business development, strategic advisory and project delivery while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the country’s key mining markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consulting teams and manage delivery of transformation programmes in mining operations.
• Build trusted relationships with C‑level and senior leaders, acting as a strategic advisor.
• Drive business development activities, including opportunity identification, proposal creation and closing complex engagements.
• Expand existing client relationships by identifying long‑term partnership and growth opportunities.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and resources in collaboration with internal teams and clients.
• Engage executive stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of solutions.
• Anticipate operational and delivery risks, ensuring proactive mitigation and strong governance.
• Contribute to the growth of the Mining & Metals portfolio in Peru and across Latin America.
• Maintain active involvement in project delivery to ensure quality, impact and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading transformation programmes in the mining or metals sector.
• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with senior executives.
• Strong business development track record, including identifying and closing high‑value consulting engagements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking with a focus on operational excellence and sustainability.
