Services Manager – Business Operations

About the role

The Services Manager – Business Operations will support Baker Hughes’ midstream business by partnering with project managers and process leaders to embed operational excellence across regions. This role combines financial insight, process governance, and strategic project leadership to drive continuous improvement and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with project managers and process leaders to ensure alignment with organizational standards and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance on budget control, resource allocation, and operational performance using strong financial acumen.
• Collect, analyse, and integrate process and system data into centralized service‑management platforms.
• Present project plans, technical roadmaps, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to senior business leaders.
• Manage mid‑term operational projects with customized approaches based on business and client needs.
• Drive stakeholder alignment across multiple teams and business units to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
• Support key business‑unit clients by navigating complex processes and maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.
• Identify opportunities to optimise processes, improve efficiency, and enhance service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 5 + years of experience in business operations or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Proven experience leading programs or projects in complex environments.
• Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at various organisational levels.
