CEO, Exit-Focused Growth Lead

About the role

We are seeking a CEO to lead Icons of Real Estate through a rapid growth phase and position the company for a strategic exit. The role combines fundraising, operational leadership, and M&A execution in a remote‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and close a $1 M growth financing round within 120 days, leveraging personal and company investor networks.
• Assume full operational ownership of the business, overseeing the team, platform, client relationships and growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with the founding team to execute paid‑acquisition, product development and partnership strategies.
• Drive the company toward a strategic acquisition, managing relationships with potential acquirers and M&A advisors.
• Build and lead a distributed remote team across multiple time zones.

Required profile

• Direct experience with at least one company acquisition, preferably on the sell side.
• Proven track record raising capital (angel, seed or growth round) and active investor relationships.
• Experience managing a lean remote team of 5–20 people.
• Availability to commit full‑time to the role.
• Strong preference for background in SaaS, media, marketplace or real‑estate technology.

What we offer

• Initial draw of $2 000–$3 000 per month during the fundraising phase.
• Base salary of $8 000–$9 000 per month after the raise.
• $40 000 milestone bonus upon successful close of the growth round.
• Performance‑based exit bonus tied to the company’s sale price.
