Property Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of at least 125 residential properties. You will act as the main liaison between landlords, tenants, and field operators, ensuring smooth operations, timely maintenance, and effective marketing of listings.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and organize property photos, prepare market comparisons, and support landlords in setting competitive rates.
• Track and screen leads from phone, email, and social media, keeping all parties informed about inquiries and showings.
• Coordinate property visits, inspections, repairs, and lease‑renewal inspections with field operators.
• Review rental applications, perform initial screenings, compile summaries for owners, and assist with lease preparation and e‑signatures.
• Onboard new tenants to the Resident Center, collect initial payments, and manage tenant profiles.
• Schedule and track maintenance requests, communicate updates to landlords, and handle contractor invoicing.
• Assist in implementing new systems (e.g., LeadSimple, ZInspector) and manage technicians' calendars.
• Monitor delinquent balances, send reminders, and collaborate with accounting on payment plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in property management or a similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with property management platforms such as Buildium, LeadSimple, or ZInspector.
• Basic knowledge of WhatsApp for quick communications.
