Mid-Level Golang Engineer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a Mid‑Level Golang Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely on project‑based assignments for U.S. clients across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver high‑performance backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Go applications and services, both RESTful and gRPC.
• Build and operate distributed systems, including message‑broker integrations (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS).
• Write Dockerfiles, create Kubernetes manifests, and troubleshoot workloads in production.
• Implement testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Tekton or Argo.
• Contribute to observability, monitoring and tracing using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus and related stacks.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands‑on Go development, familiar with Go modules, goroutines, channels and the standard testing toolchain.
• Advanced English communication skills and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Production experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure) and container orchestration.
