Mid-Level Golang Engineer – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking a Mid‑Level Golang Engineer to work remotely for clients in the United States. The engineer will join the client’s existing development team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers on project‑based assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate directly into the client’s team and contribute to feature development.
• Design, implement and operate distributed systems using Go.
• Develop and maintain RESTful and gRPC services.
• Work with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or NATS, handling delivery guarantees and replay.
• Write Docker images and Kubernetes manifests, debug workloads, and manage deployments.
• Establish testing patterns and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in observability, monitoring and tracing using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus or similar tools.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands‑on Go development, including modules, goroutines, channels and testing.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Production experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD tools.
