About the role

BairesDev is seeking an Autonomous Systems Engineer to design and deliver software that enables machines to perceive, decide, and act with minimal human input. The position is fully remote and focuses on safety‑critical, real‑time autonomous applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust software for autonomous systems, ensuring safe sensor integration.
• Develop real‑time perception, state estimation, and path‑planning algorithms using Python and C++.
• Integrate and fuse data from multiple sensors to improve environmental awareness.
• Create simulation‑first workflows to validate behavior and safety across scenarios.
• Monitor production telemetry and optimize system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define architectural standards and align hardware‑software interfaces.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in autonomous or embedded systems.
• Proven track record developing safety‑critical software with C++ and Python.
• Hands‑on experience with sensor integration and real‑time data processing.
• Deep understanding of autonomous system architectures and sensor fusion.
• Strong debugging and performance‑optimization skills on embedded hardware.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
