About the role
We are looking for a driven Business Development Representative to generate new opportunities and grow existing accounts within the concrete pumping and construction sector. The ideal candidate understands construction operations and can balance lead generation with long‑term account management.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals, networking and social media outreach.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of contractors, builders and construction companies.
- Schedule meetings and presentations, generate qualified leads and convert them into long‑term customers.
- Track opportunities and follow‑up activities within CRM systems.
- Manage relationships with existing clients, serve as primary contact, ensure satisfaction and identify upsell/cross‑sell opportunities.
- Coordinate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Stay informed about construction projects, market activity and competitor trends; represent the company at industry events.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of experience in business development, sales or account management.
- Construction industry experience strongly preferred; concrete pumping, ready‑mix or heavy equipment background a plus.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (C1 level English).
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Self‑motivated with strong organizational abilities.
- Comfortable working both in the field and in an office environment.
