About the role
The Advisor I, Chat Support role provides customer service through inbound chats, outbound calls, or online channels. You will assist customers with routine issues, ensure service quality, and help meet contractual performance targets.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver service that meets defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Clarify customer requirements, probe for understanding, and use decision‑support tools to resolve issues.
- Listen attentively, demonstrate empathy, and build rapport with customers.
- Greet customers courteously and professionally following established procedures.
- Maintain basic knowledge of client products and services.
- Prepare accurate work records and properly annotate accounts.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction and business performance.
- Offer additional products or services when appropriate.
- Track, document, and retrieve information in the chat/call tracking database.
- Refer customers to published materials, secondary sources, or senior staff as needed.
Required profile
- High school diploma (or two years of college education for Philippines applicants).
- 3‑6 months of relevant experience preferred, but no prior call‑center experience required.
- Courteous with a strong customer‑service orientation.
- Strong computer navigation skills and basic PC knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Dependable, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Patience and a professional tone in all customer interactions.
- Willingness to rotate shifts as needed.
