Dell Global Alliance Director

About the role

Canonical is seeking a senior leader to head the Dell Technologies alliance globally. Reporting to the Head of IHV Alliances, the Dell Global Alliance Director will shape strategy, drive revenue, and manage a distributed team of Business Development Managers across the Americas and worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Build and own the global alliance strategy and development.
• Expand strategic relationships and enable Dell teams on the partnership.
• Grow business motions with Dell Technologies across sell‑to, sell‑through and sell‑with models.
• Increase Dell’s awareness of open‑source capabilities on Canonical Ubuntu.
• Manage, develop and grow a team of experienced Business Development Managers.
• Travel internationally to drive partnerships in person and support internal Canonical field teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Alliance Manager or Director.
• Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset focused on revenue growth.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with senior executives.
• Autonomous, disciplined, hands‑on, get‑it‑done mentality.
• Passionate about Canonical products and mission.
• Experience managing cross‑functional teams and delivering operational excellence.
