DevOps Engineer (LATAM hub)

About the role

Zeal, an AI‑enabled software consultancy serving Fortune 1000 clients, is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its primary LATAM hub in Peru. You will work in a consulting environment, helping client teams build reliable, repeatable, and automated infrastructure while embracing modern cloud and AI tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Provision and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and configure systems with Ansible.
• Containerize applications and orchestrate them with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML.
• Implement monitoring and observability with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Operate and optimize workloads across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Partner with development teams to improve deployment reliability, security, and performance.
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and document infrastructure components.

Required profile

• Automation‑minded engineer who values reliability and treats infrastructure as code.
• Clear communicator comfortable working with developers and stakeholders.
• Curious about new tools, including AI‑enhanced productivity solutions.
• Enjoys consulting dynamics where priorities shift across Fortune 1000 projects.

Required skills

• Strong scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell and familiarity with YAML.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code experience with Terraform.
• Configuration management using Ansible.
• CI/CD tooling: Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana.
• Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
