Enterprise Account Executive – LATAM (Spanish speaker)

About the role

Canonical is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive sales of its open‑source solutions across Latin America, with a focus on Spanish‑speaking markets such as Colombia. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and work closely with engineering and customer‑success teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Canonical’s portfolio of Ubuntu‑based and open‑source enterprise solutions in your territory.
• Build and execute a territory plan that prioritises outreach, prospecting and local marketing.
• Develop new pipeline, manage the sales cycle and close contracts to meet quarterly and annual bookings targets.
• Collaborate with field engineers to design solutions and with customer‑success teams to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts in Salesforce and nurture relationships with key decision‑makers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or computer science.
• Proven experience selling enterprise software or technology solutions, with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Familiarity with open‑source technologies and ability to communicate technical value to senior stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑disciplined and comfortable working in a distributed team.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish; ability to travel regionally and internationally.
