Forward Deployed Engineer III – Generative AI (Spanish/English)

About the role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer III specializing in Generative AI, you will embed within strategic accounts to turn cutting‑edge AI research into production‑grade solutions. You act as both an innovator and a builder, delivering custom AI agents directly in the customer environment while feeding real‑world insights back to Google Cloud’s product roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship AI‑driven solutions that move from concept to production on Google Cloud Platform.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Collaborate with customers to resolve integration, data readiness, and state‑management challenges.
• Provide “white‑glove” deployment support and act as a technical liaison between the client and Google engineering teams.
• Contribute feedback to improve Google’s AI portfolio, including Gemini models and Vertex AI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years of professional software development experience, primarily in Python.
• Proven track record delivering production‑grade AI solutions on GCP.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English to manage client relationships across Latin America.
• Preferred: Master’s or PhD in AI/Computer Science and experience with multi‑agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or ADK.
