Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Excel™ is seeking a senior‑level Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to drive the architecture and development of its core revenue platforms. You will work on high‑impact systems such as eBid, a real‑time bid management engine, and eMax, an internal intelligence platform that combines data insights with automated actions for revenue teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core components of eBid and eMax, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Standardize the microservices ecosystem across frameworks, patterns, and deployment pipelines.
• Lead the adoption of OpenFaaS for event‑driven and serverless workloads.
• Architect and deploy end‑to‑end distributed tracing using OpenTracing/OpenTelemetry to enforce strict service SLAs.
• Elevate security posture and expand automated testing coverage (unit, integration, end‑to‑end).
• Collaborate with product and revenue teams to translate business requirements into reliable APIs.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, predominantly backend.
• Proven track record designing microservice architectures and APIs at scale.
• Strong ownership mindset with a focus on quality, security, and observability.
• Experience working in fast‑moving, remote‑first environments.
