Java Developer – Remote

About the role

INDI is seeking experienced Java Developers to join a globally distributed development team. You will work on diverse projects ranging from mobile to web applications, delivering high‑quality solutions that enhance user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with software development teams to gather requirements and enforce best practices.
• Design, implement and support applications focusing on security, analytics and performance.
• Adhere to industry security coding standards and perform Fortify scans and other security reviews.
• Conduct code reviews for junior team members and participate in peer reviews.
• Execute test scripts to ensure quality delivery.
• Resolve code issues promptly and efficiently.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Proven experience in web application programming.
• Strong understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming principles.
• Ability to work with both relational and non‑relational databases.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
