Java Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior Java Software Engineer with extensive experience in building robust backend services. You will work on end‑to‑end development of high‑performance applications using Java 17 and modern Spring technologies, primarily within an AWS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Spring Data JPA.
• Architect and optimize MySQL database schemas, write efficient SQL, and manage data persistence via CrudRepository.
• Deploy, monitor, and operate services on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS) following cloud‑best practices.
• Take full ownership of features from discovery through deployment, including technical debt reduction and bug resolution.
• Collaborate in Scrum/Kanban teams, contributing to sprint planning and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven ability to lead medium‑complexity projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
