About the role

Kake is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with deep .NET expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services for a youth‑sports platform. The role blends hands‑on development with technical leadership, influencing architecture and engineering practices across a distributed team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET‑based services, APIs, and micro‑services.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and evolve system design over time.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve code quality, development processes, and best practices.
• Evaluate the current technology stack and recommend modernization initiatives.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration across systems.
• Support the growth of a distributed engineering team through knowledge sharing and mentorship.
• Implement and maintain strong QA practices to guarantee reliability and performance.
• Balance scalability, performance, and cost‑effectiveness in backend systems.

Required profile
