Partner Sales Executive – North America Channel

About the role

Canonical is expanding its channel sales team to meet growing demand for open‑source solutions. The Partner Sales Executive will own a mix of farming and hunting activities across the United States and Canada, driving revenue through reseller and distributor partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a channel strategy for distributors and resellers in the assigned territory.
• Identify, recruit and onboard new partners, building go‑to‑market plans and joint commitments.
• Conduct sales and pre‑sales trainings, enable partners and manage the channel pipeline.
• Maintain regular contact with priority resellers and distributors, acting as trusted advisor.
• Support partner satisfaction and represent Canonical at external events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technology field.
• Proven experience in software or technology sales, with a track record of meeting quotas.
• Fluency in English and strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Self‑starter comfortable working in an unstructured, startup‑like environment.
