Project Cargo Agent

About the role

Maersk is looking for a Project Cargo Agent to act as the primary point of contact for its customers, managing the end-to-end shipment lifecycle including inland delivery. The role requires close collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders, and is based onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute customer shipments according to the implementation plan and customer requirements, with attention to QHSE and reporting.
• Understand external factors affecting the customer's supply chain, their sense of urgency, service needs, drivers and desires.
• Align with customer expectations early and respond with suggested solutions.
• Track shipments proactively and notify customers of deviations from the transport plan, offering alternatives.
• Prepare transport plans with suppliers and liaise with them.
• Onboard customers and build strong, collaborative relationships focused on providing solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in customer service within logistics companies, and 2 years handling special cargo (project cargo).
• University degree in International Trade, Logistics or a related field.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Understanding of local regulations.
