Remote Electron Developer (Cross-Platform Desktop Apps)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electron Developer to create high-performance, cross-platform desktop applications. You will work remotely with a global team, delivering native-like experiences on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop desktop applications using Electron, JavaScript and Node.js.
• Build responsive user interfaces with HTML, CSS and the Chromium rendering engine.
• Integrate native OS features such as file system access, menus and notifications.
• Optimize main and renderer processes for performance and security.
• Package and distribute production-ready binaries for multiple operating systems from a single codebase.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve the overall product.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience focused on desktop application development.
• Proven track record of building cross-platform apps with Electron.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js for desktop environments.
• Experience delivering applications on Windows, macOS and Linux.
• Advanced English communication skills.
