Senior Mobile Engineer – iOS & Android

About the role

We are building a new class of consumer hardware that will transform how people interact with their living spaces. As a Senior Mobile Engineer you will own the end‑to‑end consumer app on both iOS and Android, delivering a seamless experience for discovery, purchase, setup, and daily control of the product.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the iOS and Android mobile applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Implement the full commerce flow, including product discovery, checkout, payments (Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and order tracking.
• Build a computer‑vision measurement pipeline using AprilTag detection, pose estimation, camera calibration and multi‑frame fusion.
• Develop BLE and Wi‑Fi connectivity layers, provisioning, firmware updates and device control in close partnership with the firmware team.
• Set up and operate production infrastructure: CI/CD, crash reporting, analytics, feature flags and release management.
• Collaborate with design to craft onboarding, error handling and a consumer‑grade user experience.
• Contribute to team growth through mentorship, technical hiring and setting engineering standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience shipping production consumer mobile apps.
• At least one publicly released app you have built or significantly contributed to.
• Deep expertise in one native platform (Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Compose) and working knowledge of the other.
• Experience delivering commerce features such as checkout and payment integrations.
