Tour Guide – Day Trips in Lima

About the role

Peruna is seeking a full‑time Tour Guide to lead day‑trip excursions from Lima. The role combines on‑site guiding with the flexibility to work remotely when not leading tours. You will be the face of the company, delivering engaging historical narratives and ensuring a safe, memorable experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct guided tours for domestic and international visitors, covering cultural, historical, and natural attractions.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing any concerns during the tour.
• Share accurate and compelling historical information to enrich the visitor experience.
• Promote additional services and upsell tours or related products to increase sales.
• Collaborate with the operations team to schedule tours and manage bookings.
• Maintain flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience conducting guided tours and delivering high‑quality customer service.
• Strong knowledge of, or passion for, Peruvian history and culture.
• Interest or experience in sales and marketing activities.
• Excellent public‑speaking and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Advanced English proficiency; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
