Concierge & Events Specialist (Shipboard)

About the role

The Concierge & Events Specialist ensures a seamless, premium experience for VIP, Loyalty, Group and Concierge Class guests aboard the vessel. Working within the Guest Relations team, you act as the main liaison between guests, event teams and all hotel and marine departments, anticipating needs and delivering memorable service.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact and advocate for VIP, Loyalty, Group and Concierge guests, handling inquiries and escalations with professionalism.
• Plan, coordinate and execute Group, Loyalty and Concierge events, ensuring flawless organization and stakeholder collaboration.
• Maintain the appearance, cleanliness and stock of the Concierge lounge, Loyalty spaces and conference rooms.
• Stay fully informed on brand features, ship information, revenue products, itineraries and guest preferences.
• Arrange personalized guest services such as transportation, restaurant reservations, spa treatments, shore excursions, floral arrangements, tailoring and babysitting.
• Lead by example, uphold the WAYS philosophy, and take ownership of any guest or crew occurrences requiring direction.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years experience as a Front Desk or Receptionist in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Proven ability to manage events with 80+ guests.
• Excellent hospitality, communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Clear, courteous English speaking ability.
• Shipboard guest‑services experience is a plus.
