Node Developer - Remote Work

About the role

Join BairesDev as an AI‑first Backend Engineer focused on Node.js development. You will work remotely, leveraging AI coding assistants to accelerate solution delivery while ensuring high‑quality, maintainable code.

Key responsibilities

• Use AI tools to decompose high‑level tickets and product ideas into clear implementation plans.
• Guide AI assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot) to generate code, then refine, debug, and finalize solutions.
• Apply strong prompt‑engineering techniques to obtain technically sound AI outputs.
• Debug, optimize, and monitor applications with emphasis on memory management, performance, and logging.
• Develop backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Deploy and maintain applications in heavily containerized environments (Docker).

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Node.js and Express.js.
• Hands‑on experience with AI coding assistants integrated into the IDE.
• Strong debugging skills, including performance tuning and metric analysis.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
• Experience working with Docker‑based containerization.
• Advanced English communication skills.
