About the role
The GLT Strategic Account Manager drives commercial growth of glycine‑based leaching solutions for the mining industry. This senior position focuses on licensing technology, building strategic relationships, and expanding market adoption both nationally and internationally.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a commercial strategy for selling glycine licensing agreements, including sales plans, targets, and territory coverage.
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the mining sector through market analysis.
- Negotiate and close licensing contracts, prepare proposals, and manage post‑sale agreements.
- Promote glycine technology at trade shows, conferences, and technical forums to increase visibility.
- Coordinate with technical and support teams to ensure successful pilot testing and scaling.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments; produce intelligence reports and strategic recommendations.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients, conduct site visits, and manage strategic accounts.
- Report sales results, KPIs, and action plans to senior leadership.
Required profile
- Degree or professional license in Chemical, Mining, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering, or an MBA.
- 5–8 years of experience in technology licensing, new market development, and stakeholder relationship management in the mining sector.
- Demonstrated ability to close commercial agreements and achieve sales targets.
- Willingness to travel and work on remote mine sites up to 50 % of the time.
