About the role
The International Potato Center (CIP) seeks a Data Full-Stack Development Intern to support the Germplasm Health Unit in Lima, Peru. The intern will contribute to building and maintaining a web‑based application for pathology laboratory information management and related data services.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and produce a web‑based application for the Germplasm Health Unit, including interfaces to corporate, user, and external databases.
- Optimize and maintain historical data archives.
- Generate reports and provide maintenance for AWS S3 resources used in bioinformatics analysis.
- Ensure system security, documentation, and readiness for production deployment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable solutions for CGIAR GHUs.
