Ex-MBB Strategy Consultant - AI Training (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for former consultants from top‑tier strategy firms to help design realistic consulting scenarios that will be used to train advanced AI systems. The position is fully remote and project‑based, focusing on translating real‑world consulting engagements into structured learning environments for large language models.

Key responsibilities

• Build detailed, industry‑specific consulting project scenarios, including financials, constraints, and ambiguous inputs.
• Design discrete consulting tasks (e.g., market sizing, cost optimisation, growth strategy) that mirror actual client work.
• Create evaluation rubrics, grading frameworks and golden‑answer solutions for each task to enable automated assessment of AI outputs.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to ensure the scenarios are compatible with the reinforcement‑learning environment.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on consulting experience at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney or Strategy&.
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, build financial models or market analyses, and deliver client‑ready recommendations under tight deadlines.
• Comfort presenting and defending recommendations in uncertain environments.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑structuring capabilities.
• Experience creating financial models, market analyses, and synthesis of messy data.
